Our impact

Where your sponsorship actually goes.

We don't claim a 100% model. We claim a 15-year one — one school in Nairobi, the same children walking through the same gates every morning, year after year.

01Where the money goes

A school doesn't run on hope. It runs on teachers, meals, and rent.

These ranges are illustrative until our next audited statement is published. We'll update them publicly the moment the numbers are final.

02In their own words

The arc is always the same: a child arrives, a child stays, a child becomes.

The point isn't a single story. It's that the same story has unfolded a thousand times here, quietly, since 2010.

03Our promise to sponsors

You sponsor a child. You hear from us — on purpose.

A welcome packet

Within a week of your first gift: who you're matched to, what's happening at the school, and how to write back.

Quarterly photo updates

Four times a year, a short field note and new photographs from Nairobi.

A letter each term

Once per term, a hand-written or dictated letter from the child you're matched to.

04A note on transparency

Live Globally has applied for 501(c)(3) status. Once approved, tax-exempt status applies retroactively to our incorporation date, and gifts made after that date become deductible. Our EIN will be listed publicly here (pending) the moment our paperwork is in hand.

We do not claim that 100% of your gift reaches the classroom. It can't. Some of it pays for the accountant who keeps us honest, the auditor who keeps us accountable, and the person in Nairobi who walks the school every morning at 7am. We think that's the right way to run a school, and we'd rather say so plainly than promise something we'd quietly have to walk back.

Every name, photo, and percentage on this site marked pending is a real placeholder — not a stand-in for something we've decided but haven't published.
