About Live Globally
One school. One city. A long, quiet bet on the proposition that education is the single most durable thing you can give a child.
01The story
Founding context and neighborhood detail — pending. We'll publish a full account of the school's first years, in the school's own words, once our archive review is complete.
What we can say plainly: the Ingrid School has been open every term since 2010, has educated more than a thousand children, and is run today by a Kenyan team in Nairobi.
Education was the choice — not the only thing that matters to the families we serve, but the lever with the longest arm.
A school is the most patient institution you can build. You'll know in twenty years whether you got it right — and you'll know every morning, in between, whether the children showed up.

02Mission & approach
Every decision we make passes through one filter: does this get a child to school, keep them there, and teach them well while they are?
Someone we trust walks the school every morning at 7am. That is the actual difference between a charity and a school.
We don't measure success in quarters. We measure it in school years, in graduations, in the children who come back to teach.
